E-government is the use of information technology, e-commerce in particular, to provide delivery of public services to citizens, business partners, and public sector. One of the driving forces for future economic growth, E-Government is already transforming the way in which business is conducted by making businesses more adaptive and responsive.
Most of the e-Government project implementations are currently in progress, for examples, Electronic Procurement (eP) Project, Project Monitoring System (PMS II), Electronic Services Directory (eServices), E-Syariah. E-Filing, Renewing Road Tax and Driving Licence Online.
E-government has faced such problem, for example, the cultural of citizen has no get used of the new technology. The citizen are not totally believe on e-government because they are lack of knowledge of Information technology.
Besides, Citizens will feel no guarantee because there are no paper work on all process, especially the implementation of e-government still not very steady and sometimes system will breakdown.
Furthermore, not every house have internet connection, the procedure to apply internet connection need take long time to process.
In addition, lack of publicity, many citizens don't know how to process through E-Government.
Ways to encouraged citizens to use the government application is promoting the E-Governemnt through newspaper, advertising, magazine, radio.
Second, also can used discount through process of E-Government. This will attract citizens to process some transaction through E-Government.

The vision focuses on effectively and efficiently delivering services from the government to the people of Malaysia, enabling the government to become more responsive to the needs of its citizens.
